Sophia was a member of the chorus in the RNCM’s annual Children’s Opera, a flagship project that sees 140 children from four local schools performing alongside over 100 RNCM students in a fully staged new production written by the children and composer Kate Pearson. Sophia and other RNCM students visited the participating schools and helped the children rehearse their parts.

This year’s opera is inspired by the famous Arthurian legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. A tale of courage loyalty, and friendship, follow the children on their noble adventure as they face their fears to challenge a mighty foe.
